About This Shop
Founded in Naka Ward, Hiroshima in 1969 by Nobuko Omae, a couturière with a background in haute couture, as a made-to-order women's atelier.
Since 1970 the shop has also carried imported fabrics and accessories from Europe — bags, shoes, small goods, knitwear and more.
A Tokyo (Ginza) branch opened in 2012.Today, working as an original manufacturer, the atelier sources a wide range of imported materials, with buying trips to Europe once or twice a year to scout trends and fabrics. It also produces its own ready-to-wear line, Fils Désir.
